Entry Six
Hey Everybody~How's it going?
We're back in Vermont in the beautiful Mad River Valley region. It's gorgeous. I can hear the Mad River through the window, and it's been snowing a little. We're all glad to be in one spot for a few days. Had a killer breakfast this morning cooked up by Mason, the chef here at the Hydeaway Inn. Greg's friend Steve got us all hooked up here. Guess what? I have my own room! Yea! No boys!
We had a great time on Tuesday night at the University Of New Hampshire in Durham. Beautiful campus, beautiful people. We played at the Wet Paint Cafe with Adam Ward who took care of us and helped us get situated. Adam's a really terrific singer/songwriter and we discussed perhaps doing a few dates with him in the near future. Also got to meet two other really talented musicians, our host, Anthony, and Steve Gentz who opened for Adam. We played a fun set to an attentive and appreciative audience and sold a few CDs. Thanks to everyone who came and signed the mailing list. Afterward, they did an open mic and we got to hear some more singer/songwriters and poets---all did a great job. It was a real pleasure for us.
The guys are driving me nuts with their Star Wars obsession, but we're all hanging in and refraining from beating each other silly (the thought does cross the mind). They get a little sick of me talking about my dog, and I do have a tendency to be annoying and pouty, but I keep reminding them of the Right To Diva clause in their contract. Of course, we're all happiest when we're playing music and are looking forward to getting on stage at The Purple Moon tomorrow night. Be in touch.
Best,
